Clinical research, and the experience of organizations such as the National Association for Research and Treatment of Homosexuality; Courage and Exodus International all attest to the fact that homosexuality is a developmental disorder, and that much help can be given to those willing to actively participate in the psychological and spiritual process of healing. Despite the present climate of political and ideological fear of authentic scientific research and real-life experience in this area, Saint Michael’s Institute for the Psychological Sciences will continue to provide an objective exploration of the causes and treatment of homosexuality.
